The purpose of the role is to drive maximum investment return (ROAS) across all performance advertising channels for brands as a part of the Retail Media offering.

This position reports to the Head of Performance & Projects

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advanced Campaign Execution: Lead the hands-on, end-to-end execution, advanced optimization, and daily management of all paid media campaigns, including SEM (Google Search & Shopping), Social (Meta, TikTok), Display & Video (DV360)
  • Performance Optimization & ROI: Implement and relentlessly refine advanced bidding strategies (e.g., value-based bidding) calibrated for the brand’s Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and/or ROAS targets.
  • Audience & Profitability Focus: Design and implement sophisticated audience segmentation strategies to isolate, target, and scale high-CLV customer cohorts and drive new customer acquisition at a profitable CAC for the brands.
  • Incrementality & A/B Testing: Develop and execute a robust testing roadmap, including creative/copy tests, landing page tests, and incrementality tests (e.g., geo-lift, conversion lift) to validate media spend effectiveness.
  • Technical Mentorship: Act as the technical lead and mentor for the Retail Media team, guiding them in platform best practices, optimization techniques, and data analysis.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Conduct deep-dive analysis, segmenting performance by new-to-brand vs. returning customers, customer profitability, and CLV cohorts to provide actionable insights.

Output:

  • Primary Mandate: Consistent delivery of core performance KPIs (e.g., ROAS, Revenue, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and CAC).
  • Efficiency: Measurable improvement in portfolio efficiency (ROAS/CAC) driven by advanced bidding, audience segmentation, and incrementality-focused testing.
  • Actionable Incrementality Insights: Conclusive, data-backed results from incrementality tests that directly inform the Head of Paid Media's budget allocation strategy.
  • Execution Quality: Flawless, best-in-class campaign execution across all platforms with 100% budget pacing accuracy.
  • Team Development: Successful mentorship and measurable technical upskilling of junior team members.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A Degree is required within Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
  • 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in a paid advertising role.
  • Proven, demonstrable experience in a large-scale, fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • Certifications: Google Ads (Required), Google Analytics (Required).
  • Account Management experience.

Attributes Required:

  • Expert-level, hands-on proficiency with the Google Ads suite (Search, Shopping, App, Display).
  • Expert-level, hands-on proficiency with Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram).
  • Strongly proficient with the Google Marketing Platform (SA360, DV360).
  • Proven experience with Mobile App Marketing (Acquisition and Retention).
